I feel like screaming. Why, just as a movie is about to come out about our drab, middle-of-nowhere town, do things like this have to happen? WHY?!

For those of your who don't live in our local district, allow me to explain exactly what's been going on. First, someone called in to a radio station, threating a bomb in the parking lot of the local hospitol. After three hours of searching and moving, it all came up as some kind of crazy prank.

Then, at my beloved old Jr. High, something absolutely sickening happens: A bunch of football players reportedly raped one of the younger MALE students. What kind of sicko does something like that, esspessially when both perpertrator and victem are barely fifteen? Now they're giving out reports that it may not have happened on school ground, but they're still threatening to sue the poor place...And they've been so low on funding for so long, I hate to think what it would do to it. If they're going to sue anybody, sue the parents of the sickos who did it!!

And THEN three kids break out of the local Juvinile Dentention Center, putting every school withing ten miles in lock-down for over an hour. And they STILL haven't found them!!

I swear, isn't if bad enough that this movie's going to make us all look like a bunch of football-obsessed hicks, do they have to pull off this junk NOW?! Come on, people! Use some freakin' common sense already!!!!


*sigh*...On a slightly lighter note, our anime/comic book club now has a new name. It is no longer 'Animarvel'. We are now the 'GAMMA' Club. Yes, the GAMMA: the Games, Anime, Marvel and Manga Appresiation Club. I suppose it fits. We even get T-Shirts this year!

Other than that, it's just life as usual for a normal teenager actor/writer stuck in the middle of nowhere. The most amazing stories are always somewhere in the back of your mind...
